Birth and Postpartum Community
We do not give birth in a vacuum–help and support are vital elements in the act of giving birth. While as midwives, we do our best to meet your needs during your pregnancy, labor and postpartum period, we recognize we live in a community abundant with wonderful and helpful care providers of all sorts.
There are many resources available in the greater Phoenix area from which we can draw assistance and support.
Care providers available to enhance your birth experience can include nurse midwives and physicians (MD’s and ND’s) if the need is medical, Myopractors, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Nutritionists, and Herbalists can increase your comfort level and address physical problems.
Childbirth educators, counselors, doulas, lactation consultants, and mother’s groups can all make your transition into motherhood (or another addition to your family) an easier process.
I have been involved in the Phoenix birth community for many years and can make any necessary or helpful referrals as needed.
